CSA Board of Directors Announces New Member, New Treasurer

The CSA Board of Directors has continued to add to its professional expertise and leadership capabilities with the addition of a new Board member and a new Treasurer.

The newest member of the Board is A.J. (Breeze) Brezovar. A Cleveland native, he completed a tour of service in the U.S. Navy and, after an honorable discharge, went to work for General Electric as an Engineering Apprentice. While this and early education would lead him toward an intended engineering career, he soon moved into technical selling for a major Cleveland industrial firm. Early sales success, along with his college education, led him to fulfill key executive positions including National Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Executive Vice President, and Corporate Officer over the last 30 years of his corporate career. Major industry changes forced a change in career, and he quickly became an industry leader in a number of successful software startup companies that provided financial software solutions to the world banking industry.  Breeze has participated in the entire entrepreneurial cycle from initial startup through the sale of a business, and has successfully led more than one corporation’s sales and marketing activities through business plan development onto complicated acquisitions and mergers. Concerned with the volatile corporate banking environment, he founded and successfully operated his own sales and marketing consulting firm where he assisted corporations on issues ranging from resolving management problems, developing business plans and raising capital, to consulting on strategic planning projects.

Now retired, Breeze resides in Bay Village, and continues to be very involved in the community.  He assists senior citizens in home computer software training, helps local nonprofit organizations with computer performance improvements, and he is the authorized and approved software consultant for the City of Bay Village. He also serves in many of his church’s outreach activities, including tenure as a Deacon.

In addition, current CSA Board member, Tim Rankin, has been appointed to the position of Treasurer for CSA, taking over for Ted Kurz who has retired from the Board of Directors.  Tim joined CSA’s Board in 2013.  As a commercial banker at Key Bank, Tim uses experience and strategy to help business owners in the Greater Cleveland area achieve their business objectives. Using a consultative, problem solving approach, he helps business owners expand and grow while managing their cash flow and risk. Tim brings passion, integrity, and optimism to everything he does, and his experience in financial services, investments, and commercial banking will be tremendous assets to CSA and its financial operations.

Please join with us in welcoming Breeze to the Board and congratulate Tim on his increased leadership with the organization.
