Lake Erie Clambake on the Beach is a Great Success; Event Helps Raise Funds for CSA and its Mission

On Friday, October 24, 2014, more than 80 guests gathered on the shores of Lake Erie and enjoyed a wonderful evening in support of Community Service Alliance and its mission to provide housing, job assistance, and personal, behavioral and spiritual support to men transitioning from homelessness to independence and self-sufficiency.

The First Annual Lake Erie Clambake on the Beach was a wonderful success, and raised over $4,000 for CSA and the men we serve. Guests at the event, which was held at the private Clifton Beach House in Lakewood, Ohio, spent a relaxing and comfortable fall evening on the beautiful shores of Lake Erie. The event included a full clambake catered by Lobster Brothers, drinks, music, and a silent auction.

CSA would like to thank the generous corporations and individuals who helped support the event through their generous sponsorships, including Bill Grulich and dl Meckes; Rowland Connelly Joyce & Associates; Mansour Gavin LPA; Tour of Good Cheer; Dollar Bank; Morgan Benefits; Ohio Pipe & Valve; Pease & Associates; and Puritas Nursery.

Our hosts for the evening were Nora & Kim Katzenberger who graciously arranged for use of the private, exclusive Beach House.

Our special friends from the Martha Devotion Huntington Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution sold handcrafted jewelry to support CSA, and our hosts for the evening were Lenny & Kathy Weiss who graciously arranged for use of the private, exclusive Beach House.

The evening was a very special one, and we are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make our Lake Erie Clambake on the Beach a beautiful event!
