Bob Mathews

Back in early 2006, Bob was one of the first residents at Procop House and was our first resident manager until he successfully moved into his own apartment in 2008.

In the two years Bob lived with us, he not only served as resident manager (think college dorm RA), but also got a position with benefits as an area monitor at the 2100 Lakeside Shelter.

Today, Bob lives in a one-bedroom apartment near public transportation and visits Procop House regularly to check in with the guys and to give back to those in need.  Admirably, Bob continues to offer a morning reflection at the shelter for all who want to start the day with the word of God.  And, although his hours have been cut due to budget issues, he faithfully works his monthly finances on the budget form he used at Procop House!

As needs warrant, Community Service Alliance continues to support Bob – spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.  Bob, like all the men we work with on the job and housing fronts, is a member of this extended family of faith – now and into the future.
