CSA Selected as a United Way Funded Agency

CSA Selected as a United Way Funded Agency

CSA is very proud to have been selected as a United Way of Greater Cleveland funded agency during that agency’s efforts to implement its Community Impact Agenda.  CSA will receive $21,500 in funding to support Fulton House – our housing program for homeless Veterans.

The United Way of Greater Cleveland took a major step this year to graduate more kids, lift families and individuals to financial stability, and create a healthier community through approved funding to implement its Community Impact Agenda. Overall, United Way will invest $34 million in work to change the community once and for all.

Community Impact volunteers spent 1,082 hours reviewing 327 proposals from 167 agencies to make funding decisions with the intent of creating the most impactful investments with the resources available.  It represents a deliberate shift to a preventative approach with a long-lasting return on investment and an effort to solve some of the community’s most pressing problems.

Funding was distributed to 132 programs throughout Cuyahoga County to address issues for individuals and families of all ages.

CSA is very proud to be awarded this funding, and looks forward to the opportunity to work cooperatively with the United Way of Greater Cleveland and the greater Cuyahoga County community to address the issues related to homelessness and poverty among the men we serve.
